Compost Attendant - Part Time - Seasonal Position

The City of Beatrice is accepting applications for a part-time seasonal Compost Attendant at the Compost Site. Starting wage is $12.50 per hour. Hours of work are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with alternating shifts, 15-25 hours per week. Work will run through November 30, 2024. Job duties will include: assisting the public when loads of yard waste arebrought in to the Compost Site to ensure material is placed in the correct location, keeping piles of yard waste free of debris, and accepting and keeping track of money received.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have valid drivers license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Abilityto count money and give correct change.
