Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as anEngineering Internfor our Manufacturing Engineering and Product Design Engineering departments.TheEngineering Internwill learn the responsibilities of a professional engineer under the guidance of our more senior employees. This position will report to the Engineering Supervisor and is based at our Components Facility in Beatrice, Nebraska. It is extremely important this team member be aligned withNeapcosCore Values of Partnership, Passion, Agility, Teamwork, Integrity, and Diversity and Neapcos Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility goals and objectives. Compensation dependent upon qualifications.

Job Description: Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn the responsibilities of an engineer
  • Fulfill administrative duties around the office
  • Assist engineering staff with projects
  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Familiar with PC usage, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as internet navigation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and also be self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Familiarity and training in common engineering computer programs

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Recent degree or current enrollment in an accredited University/College program
