Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as anEngineering Internfor our Manufacturing Engineering and Product Design Engineering departments.TheEngineering Internwill learn the responsibilities of a professional engineer under the guidance of our more senior employees. This position will report to the Engineering Supervisor and is based at our Components Facility in Beatrice, Nebraska. Job Description: Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Learn the responsibilities of an engineer
• Fulfill administrative duties around the office
• Assist engineering staff with projects
• Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Familiar with PC usage, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as internet navigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
• Ability to work in a team environment, and also be self-directed and able to work without supervision
• Familiarity and training in common engineering computer programs

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recent degree or current enrollment in an accredited University/College program
