Neapco is seeking a results-driven individual to join our team as a Product Design Engineering Supervisor. The Product Design Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for supervision of employees engaged in product design engineering. This position will report to the Director of Product Design Engineering and is based at our Components Facility in Beatrice, Nebraska. Compensation dependent upon qualifications.

Job Description: Product Design Engineering Supervisor

Including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees engaged in product design engineering.
  • Design, implement and refine product development, testing and manufacturing processes.
  • Supervise staff and assign tasks to product design engineering and technical personnel.
  • Lead teams in the development of new products and processes.
  • Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate external design teams.
  • Ensure professional standards are maintained for all designs and check work.
  • Lead work and engineering systems and processes.
  • Strive to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and product designs, and to reduce waste.
  • Assist in creating and overseeing project budgets and engage in cost management strategies.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences, and make site visits to suppliers facilities.
  • Assure that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders and departments.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • 4-5 years relevant work experience.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
