Woolpert is hiring an Implementation Technician to join our dynamic Data Cloud Services (DCS) Professional Services Group based in our Springfield, OH office. This is a hybrid role with a schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days work from home. This position reports to the Implementation Team Lead and is responsible for the configuration of client environments.Roles of the Implementation Technician include establishing connections to clients' networks, databases, and file systems and working with clients to compile information for establishing the connection to client servers and loading data to the company cloud environment. Responsibilities As an Implementation Technician at Woolpert, you will: Establish connections between business and client computer systems using varying means of connection. Track progress and ensuring completion of multiple installations. Install software on client servers. Configure software. Load data to the cloud environment. Ensure services are running and initial syncs are successful. Investigate and resolve any issues found during client setup. Read logs to determine the success or failure of a process. Report issues using a ticketing system. Communicate issues to the lead or client. Ensure the project team is aware of key deliverables and project milestones. Create and maintain documentation for each client installation, detailing all customizations made. Qualifications Minimum Requirements AA/AS or BA/BS degree in Computer Science/computer-related field is preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC). Working knowledge and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL). Experience with at least one relational database (SQL Server, Oracle, Access, and/or DB2). Experience reading and modifying HTML, XML, and JSON scripts and files. Comfortability speaking with clients. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). MS Office suite skills. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience, knowledge, or expertise in mass appraisal, county auditor/assessor, or treasurer office. Minimum of two (2) years of technical-related work experience. Experience with ODBC. Familiarity with virtual private networks (VPN), Remote Desktop connections, and remote support tools.
