Electronics Manufacturing Technician

Weekend Shift $19/hr-$23/hr

Job Description

Support the manufacturing of electronic components in a lean manufacturing, high-compliance environment. This role involves tasks such as using a torque screwdriver to fasten components, operating an arbor press, working under a microscope, and handling small components with tweezers. You will perform work in a laminar flow hood and may operate basic test systems to gather pass/fail information from assemblies.

This position works in an ESD-sensitive and ITAR-compliant work area. Must provide ITAR-compliant identification documents for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Use a torque screwdriver to fasten components into place

• Operate an arbor press to press pins into assemblies

• Work under a microscope to place and adjust small components

• Use tweezers to pick up, place, and manipulate small components

• Perform work in a laminar flow hood

• Operate basic test systems to gather pass/fail information from assemblies

Essential Skills

• Ability to use a microscope and inspect small electronic components

• Basic computer skills including the ability to read and write English, use email, and understand basic machine commands

• Proven attendance and reliability through a good work history or references

• ITAR-compliant documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Machine operation or cleanroom experience is a plus

Work Environment

This role is based in an electronics manufacturing facility characterized by a lean manufacturing and high-compliance environment. You will work in a class 10,000 cleanroom which only requires a light lab coat/smock, a hair net, and a face mask.

Work Schedule & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, Oregon.
