Your Role
As a member of the Global IT Workplace team in Belgrade, you will provide 3rd-level support for colleagues worldwide, focusing on the ticketing system configuration and maintenace, Linux and SQL system administration, scripting and automation of daily tasks. Collaborating with colleagues all over the globe, you will develop, test, implement, and evaluate new solutions, improve existing processes, and resolve problems as they arise. Together with the team, you will build improvement possibilities to offer the best quality and efficiency in the service provided.
Your Responsibilities
Upgrade, design, and implementation of Topdesk modules and services
Administration and maintenance of Linux, SQL and Virtual Appliances
Development using JavaSript
Research, planning, prototyping, and testing of IT Topdesk-related services and modules
Collaborate with other Business Units within the company, helping them improve the existing Topdesk structure and implementing new functionalities
Plan and implement integration with other in-house applications
Automation of daily tasks by scripting (PowerShell, BashShell)
On-Call Duty for the internal customers
Creating/updating documentation to ensure historical retention (user guides, admin guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, quick reference guides)
Requirement management
Writing software documentation
Pro-actively protect our clients from external harm by implementing security policies or configurations based on company security baselines
Your Skills and Experiences
Must Have
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Proficiency in PowerShell (scripting and automation).
Proficiency in BashShell (scripting and automation).
Proficiency in JavaSript (Freemaker)
Strong technical skills in Linux (Ubuntu)
Strong technical skills in Virtual Appliances
Proficiency in SQL Service Management
Good understanding of Ticketing Systems
Minimum high school degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively understand and explain problems and solutions
Nice to Have
Experience with MacOS configuration, app deployment
Good understanding of APIs
GIT experience and basic understanding
Change process awareness
Knowledge of network protocols (IPv4, DNS, DHCP, FW).
Good working knowledge in Azure (Intune, SCCM, Entra, M365 Apps, Certificate services)
Good working experience and understanding of Microsoft Windows Active Directory (AAD beneficial), LDAP, GPOs, and Configuration profiles in Intune
ITIL-based incident, service- and problem-management
Team-oriented mindset
IT Security Awareness
Previous background in IT support
