Your Role

You will be serving as the first point of contact for IT colleagues in EMEA region supporting them with Windows deployment and MDT, testing new hardware models for Kuehne+Nagel standards from suppliers (new laptop models, etc.), creation and provisioning of Windows image for Kuehne+Nagel standards. Together with the team, you will build improvement possibilities in order to offer the best quality and efficiency in the service provided.

Your Responsibilities

• Create Windows OS image using various technologies:Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), VBS, PowerShell, and Windows DeploymentServers (WDS). Renew drivers and applicationversions contained in the image

• Design,administer, and maintain central WDS infrastructure and RMM (RemoteMonitoring & Management system)

• Manage projects related to WindowsDeployment Service and Microsoft Autopilot

• Provide support to IT colleagues on remote sites during WDSserver setup, deployment share replication, and necessary networkconfiguration. Monitor the WDS repository replication process around the globe

• Endpoint Patch and Vulnerability Management of operatingsystems and standard applications for the IT workplace portfolio

• Define, test, and deploy hardware and software standards incollaboration with all stakeholders

• Active Directory Group Policy andIntune Configuration Profiles management for Windows and MacOS computers, Windows servers, Apple and Android mobiledevices

• Create new configuration profilesaccording to the company requirements, and business partners

• Increase endpoint security byimplementing best practices for protecting applications and devices fromvarious threats

• Monitor the current health of ourclient and user landscape

• Pro-actively protect our clients fromexternal harm by implementing security policies or configurations based oncompany security baselines

• Support the local IT by providingcentral policies to create a homogenous environment

• Automation of daily tasks byscripting (PowerShell, BashShell)

• Follow company standards, record events, andproblems and their resolution in wiki pages/reports/manuals

• Research, evaluate, and stay updatedon emerging tools, techniques, and IT technologies, working effectively in acollaborative and innovative team-oriented environment

• Manage the life cycle of applications and services inGlobal IT Workplace responsibility

• Creating/updating documentation toensure historical retention (user guides, admin guides, knowledge basearticles, FAQs, quick reference guides)

Your Skills and Experiences

Must Have

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Minimumhigh school degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field

• Knowledge of Windows server and client OS and the registry

• Proficiency in PowerShell (scriptingand automation)

• Good working knowledge in Azure(Intune, SCCM, Entra, M365 Apps, Certificate services)

• Good working experience and understanding of MicrosoftWindows Active Directory (AAD beneficial), LDAP, GPOs, and Configurationprofiles in Intune

• Experience with MacOS configuration, app deployment

• General/Multi-purpose programming skills (BASH, VBS, Python)

• Basic OO programming understanding/skills

• Experienced with Microsoft WDS, MDT, Autopilot

• MS Graph (Azure API)

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to effectively understand and explainproblems and solutions.

• Knowledge of network protocols (IPv4, DNS, DHCP, FW).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Windows installer technologies and packagingtools

• Exposure to Linux OS (RHEL)

• Exposure to Databases

• GIT experience and basicunderstanding
