IBM System Services Representative in Belgrade, Serbia

Introduction

System Services Representatives are the primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and software support and delivery of operational services. Sound pretty important? You will advise clients of preventive maintenance, configuration, operation and environmental factors which may drastically impact product performance or impair the client's IT operation.

As a Systems Services Representative - Multi Vendor Systems you'll help drive customer satisfaction by providing exceptional technical support. As the primary technical interface to our clients, you will play a critical role in coordinating hardware support, as well as delivering operational services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • On-site installation, maintenance and repair of IBM and multi-vendor systems and components, including server hardware, storage & SAN products, and associated firmware

  • Onsite technical interface to clients for the completion of hardware onsite tasks

  • Support clients with preventive maintenance, basic configuration, and perform services activities such as systems assurance, installation planning, account management, systems-level problem determination, discontinuance and relocation of IBM and non-IBM systems and products

  • They are accountable to ensure a high level of client satisfaction with service delivery, technical support and operational services for the client account(s)

  • Responsible for the technical value relationship to protect revenue base and identify new services opportunities

  • System Services Representative may assist in generating new leads that improve the client experience and result in new incremental revenue growth for IBM via the Technology Lifecycle Services Leads Program

  • Maintain a complete and accurate customer record on the Cognitive Support Platform and other relevant tools, interact with customers with strong interpersonal skills and give accurate estimations, within reason, on active work orders

Passive 24x7 standby shift once a month is required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • A service-oriented mindset and always striving to deliver on tasks and projects

  • Elementary knowledge of server, storage and networking concepts (especially IBM DS)

  • Good team player with planning and organizing skills & multi-task

  • Experience working in an SLA-driven environment

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open tickets

  • Ability to establish good working relationships with clients

  • Fluency in Serbian & English

  • Driving License (License B)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in International company
