ASR Group/Domino Sugar Sr. Technical Document Administrator in Belleville, Ontario

OVERVIEW

The Sr. Technical Document Administrator applies functional knowledge of ASR Group quality management systems, documentation and products to provide customers with requested technical documents via various media (e-mail, Intranet website, customer databases, etc.). The job requires ongoing effective communications with customers as well as Operating and Sales functions.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond in a timely fashion to internal and external requests for quality and technical information received by phone and email.

  • Monitor central email mailbox for quality and technical information requests, responding to those inquiries within area of expertise, and routing other inquiries to other Corporate Quality team members per agreed upon routing plans.

  • Generation, maintenance and distribution of technical documents both internally and externally for ASR product lines under the direction of the Sr. Director Global Corporate Quality.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documents in company approved external customer vendor portals and third-party websites (e.g. TraceGains).

  • Assist in the drafting or revision of quality documentation, guidelines and governance documents when required.

  • Complete all internally assigned training within established deadlines and external training as deemed necessary and/or meet customer requirements.

  • Work independently to manage and balance ongoing responsibilities, specific projects, and urgent requests

  • Perform additional / other duties as assigned.

    WORK EXPERIENCES

  • Expertise in the use of statistical computing and data management systems.

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines, working independently, keeping current with education (seminars/training), being innovative and proactive in solving problems.

  • Strong working knowledge of PC workstations and Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

  • Knowledge of food product packaging operations is valuable but not mandatory.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited university/institution required
