Position Summary
The Program Manager supports the delivery of instruction and student success by administering, organizing and managing student guidance, recruitment and operations of specific programs within the Arts & Humanities (A&H), Academic Affairs Division. Programs supported by this position, with average number of students enrolled annually: - English as a Second Language (ESL): 800 - English Learning Institute (ELI): 100.
The Program Manager has influence on program policies and procedures by performing the following duties: Work closely with the Program Chair of each program; Co-create, develop and update the program student handbook with the Program Chair and Associate Dean of Basic and Transitional Studies (BaTs) and ELI; Develop holistic intake/registration processes to improve accessibility of the program and recruit diverse students in collaboration with the program navigators and support staff; Create, communicate and maintain program intake procedures and registration policies (permission codes, program registration deadlines, and waitlists); Conduct student QuickAdmit enrollment procedures and tuition waiver distribution and tracking; Co-create and uphold program procedures with the Program Chair; Initiate and lead process improvement and change management using Lean principles.
The Program Manager has financial influence on state and grant budgets by performing the following duties: Verify class rosters for billing related to enrollments; Notify Program Chairs & Dean when enrollments are not meeting target and make recommendations for class cancelations as needed. Based on analysis quarterly budget reports. Run and analyze quarterly budget reports to review revenue generated by FTEs and Fees; Advise Program Chairs on fiscal related decisions (i.e. class cancelations, equipment purchases, adjusting class fees.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Position Salary Range: $56,916/year - $76,572/year
The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
