Position Summary

 

The Neurodiversity Navigators (NdN) Program Assistant position (working title Front Desk-Peer Mentor Assistant) is the focal point for the program for responding to routine program inquiries from internal and external parties, as well as responding to routine inquiries from lower-level staff. This position serves as a substitute peer mentor when part-time peer mentors are absent. This position assists higher-level staff and reports to the NdN Director.

 

The Program Assistant position supports the work of lower-level part-time staff and provides direct student services as needed, on a drop-in basis and as a substitute peer mentor. Their primary responsibilities include day-to-day facilities coordination, serving as a Front Desk monitor to welcome students, staff, and visitors, answering their questions and guiding them to appointments and campus services. This position answers routine questions from the community, students, and part-time peer mentors. In this role, they also monitor and reply to routine queries from the NdN and DSNS shared mailboxes.

 

This position provides administrative organization including recordkeeping, preparing text and email templates, answering routine public inquiries, and preparing and sending information packets and materials.

 

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

 

Position Salary Range: $39,624/year - $52,596/year

 

The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
