Actalent Medical Assistant in Bellevue, Washington
Description:
Our Client is looking to add a Medical Assistant to their OB/GYN Department. Ideally, they are looking for a Medical Assistant with +2 years of experience and a Washington State Medical Assistant Certification. As well as, someone that has experience working with EPIC and has a BLS certification.
The clinic is open Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and exam rooms for care
Assist clinicians with procedures
Coordinate communications between clinicians and patients
Facilitate completion of preventative care
Collection of selected data about health status of the patient
Determines consumers purpose for visit, concerns and educational/physical needs
Checks and records consumers vital signs
Records pertinent data on the consumers medical record
Recognizes urgent/emergent situations and refers them in a timely fashion to physician or nurse
Participates with other health team members in the development of the nursing care plan
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+2 years Medical Assistant experience (preferred)
EPIC experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Women Health experience
Washington State Medical Assistant Certification
