Work with designers to build, improve, and innovate on Player vs. Environment and Player vs. Player game design toolkit. Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary team to create features that enable team to craft immersive worlds. Responsibilities include the following:

• Build and maintain production-quality C++ code
• Design, build, extend, and maintain networked gameplay systems and associated tools and workflows
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to build new gameplay experiences
• Architect, write, debug and maintain code in C++
• Develop technical systems on a broad spectrum of scope and complexity
• Communicate with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve goals
• Work with fellow engineers to jointly plan, craft and review code by building team consensus and alignment

Reports to the AI Engineering Lead. Remote work is an option for this role in approved areas (WA, OR, ID, CA, TX, IL, NC, FL, MD, GA, NY, MN, UT, WI, MA, CO, DC, VA, NJ, TN). Minimum Requirements:

Education:  Bachelor's degree in software development, video game development, interactive technology, or closely related field Experience:  4 years in a Game Developer or Gameplay Engineer/Programmer role in the video game industry

Skills and Special Requirements:

Experience must include the following:

• Architecting, writing, debugging and maintaining code in C++
• Data structures, algorithms, and debugging
• Use and understanding of OOP (object-oriented programming) concepts
