Description

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This key role will support the accounting functions of all our business units, providing crucial financial insights to management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly closing process; prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet account reconciliations, and perform financial analysis on demand

• Utilize your critical thinking and Excel skills to analyze financial statements and data; present actionable insights to management

• Conduct monthly variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts; research and resolve discrepancies

• Lead accounts payable and accounts receivable teams

• Mentor, guide, and provide training to accounting team members

• Review and approve AP and AR transactions

• Continuously review and refine accounting processes and procedures to reduce risks and improve efficiency

• Ensure company assets are protected and that the financial statements are accurate through adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Handle ad-hoc research, project work, and analysis as assigned

• Assist in financial reporting at period ends

• Manage fixed assets, general accounting, and plug and play functions

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and principles

Additional Information:

Working hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role follows a hybrid model that includes one work from home day per week. Free onsite parking is available. The dress code is business casual. This position is to be filled immediately.
