About the role

This role demands a savvy Front-End Web Software Engineer III to ensure our CMS applications are not only visually compelling but functionally seamless. Tasked with implementing design frameworks and interpreting visual mockups, you'll apply your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining standards for web accessibility and responsiveness, directly impacting the user experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Design and Tech teams to ensure design-to-CMS translation aligns with original mockups and functionality requirements. Adapt design frameworks for CMS application, focusing on usability, accessibility, and responsive design. Work as part of the development team to understand product requirements and create engaging user experiences. Employ development best practices to write, test, and deploy code in various environments. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues. Stay updated on the latest developments in front-end technologies and adopt them as relevant to ongoing projects. Maintain, refactor, and improve existing web properties for optimal functionality and design consistency. Complete bug fixes. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiar with frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS, especially in the context of CMS environments

Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility issues.

Familiarity with user interface design principles and the ability to work with complex visual designs.

Proficiency with modern development tools and workflows such as Git, npm, webpack, etc.

Understanding of SEO principles and their implications on front-end development

Familiarity with industry best practices, such as semantic HTML, accessibility standards (WCAG),and code optimization for performance.

Ability to work closely with UX designers and translate visual concepts into functional web components.

Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Good oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
