Google Insights and Analytics Lead in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, or project management from a public accounting firm or multi-national company.

  • 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with a focus on creating self-service reporting tools and dashboards.

  • 2 years of people-leadership experience.

  • Experience leading multiple, cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.

  • Certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Experience with advanced data visualization techniques and storytelling with data to convey insights effectively to stakeholder.

  • Experience in designing and developing self-service reporting tools tailored for procurement stakeholders.

  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and data quality assurance and creating impactful data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of procurement processes and systems, and familiarity with SQL or other query languages for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

In this role, you will support the Center of Excellence team who is responsible for developing, deploying, and ingraining best practices throughout the organization related to activities, such as procurement process, systems, metrics, reporting, or training. You will model business scenarios and track spend drivers, used by Google Procurement Organization (GPO) to make strategic decisions around systems, tools, and supplier strategy. You will be tasked with building forecasts, efficiency models, and reporting infrastructures. You will gather insights into spend and budget consumption patterns across teams, and synthesize and deliver them through presentations.

  • Design, develop, and maintain self-service reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms tailored for procurement stakeholders.

  • Oversee collecting, aggregating, and analyzing procurement-related data from various sources to create actionable insights and meaningful visualizations.

  • Drive analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to procurement operations.

  • Lead creation of interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using data visualization and reporting tools and software.

  • Drive ongoing manual reporting activities by generating reports, and analyses as needed for specific operational requirements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of manually prepared reports.
