Intel IT – Senior Software Developer Technical Lead in Bengaluru, India

Job Description

Intel IT's Customer and Seller Solutions - Product Data Management team is seeking a senior software application development engineer to function as a technical lead supporting Sales, Marketing, and Finance business units while working with other IT partners and stakeholders to deliver transformational programs for Intel's Product data pipeline and ensure seamless product to revenue fulfillment. This role will require experience working in a highly global cross-functional team environment and will be responsible for the delivery of a large scalable solution. As Senior developer / Technical Lead role will be responsible to collaborate with IT architects to influence design and develop solutions, and work with the team delivering scalable world class solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Lead and participate in defining business outcomes and technical solution design sessions

Strong technical abilities and demonstrated programming skills with microservices, API and system design, complex application development and data management. Experience with Informatica Product 360 and ETL tools like Informatica IDQ. Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS. Experience with containerization, dev ops and application monitoring.

  1. Develops software solutions by designing information needs, partnering with Architectures, Product Owners, IT partners and other stakeholders including users in agile environment.

  2. One who is keen and through in studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle.

Experience architecting complex large-scale systems incorporating packaged and custom applications with streaming data flows.

  1. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

  2. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code mentoring the team ensuring best practices are implemented and followed.

  1. Provides feedback on optimization and methods for the improvement in development process and operations.

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also have:

  • ability to operate with ambiguity, while strategically thinking beyond any current boundaries, question the status quo structure/functions and recommend effective adopted changes.

  • Demonstrated skills to elicit and analyze requirements, design innovative solutions, and execute.

  • Proven success in establishing and delivering large scale transformational programs with complex TCM for Internal and external customers and partners.

  • Established track record of development of large-scale complex solutions to business problems.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or any related field, OR equivalent experience. 

  • 8+ years of IT leadership in applications or solution delivery with strong track record of superior delivery results.

  • 8+ years in designing, deploying, and managing large data management solutions consumed by diverse set of business use cases.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise solution (Informatica Product 360, ETL tools) - Master data management, data modelling and development, data Enrichment, data Quality and consumption.

  • 5+ years of experience in programming languages like node.js, react.js, database: MY SQL, Microsoft SQL server.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience/ knowledge in Cloud Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.

  • Aware of Application Monitoring tools like New Relic, Dynatrace.

  • Experience driving software development teams including CI/CD, containers, API management, test automation, data processing and UX.

  • 5+ years of experience navigating change in large, matrixed, and geo-dispersed organizations and leading cross-functional teams based in multiple geographies.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
