Google Product Manager, Cloud Network Security in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in product management.

  • 5 years of experience in network security space, including public cloud.

  • Experience driving product goals, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

  • Experience creating product roadmaps, working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in product management, launching products or features in one or more areas: cloud networking, DNS or DDI services, DNS security, routing, network security, WAN connectivity.

  • Experience building products for public cloud (e.g., GCP) networking or network security.

  • Familiarity with cloud security and building a virtual appliance solution or a SaaS.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Our team's mission is to provide organizations with solutions and expertise to protect their networks and services from cyber attacks. Our goal is to make Network Security invisible by weaving it into the cloud fabric with automated verifiable protection, simplified control, and clear prioritization of critical threats with relevant context.

In this role, you will be responsible for Google Cloud Platform products such as Network Firewall, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor, Cloud NAT, Cloud IDS, and other new cloud based network security products. You will create strategic direction for these products, from market and research, feature definition, prioritization, and engagement with customers and many internal teams to get features built and shipped effectively.

  • Understand enterprise customers network security needs in the cloud and on-premise.

  • Drive projects through their entire life-cycle (e.g., requirements, design, development, launch, landing).

  • Manage the overall roadmap by prioritizing requests from customers, the sales organization, and Engineering teams across Google Cloud Platform.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams to launch new network security products.

  • Work with customers to ensure the deployment of our network security products.
