Job Description Summary

As a Cost Out Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving cost optimization initiatives across the Imaging organization. You will lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, analyze existing processes, and develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenses. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Very strong sourcing and technical background is needed. You will take wing to wing cost out which includes all cost categories like Deflation (Supplier Negotiation) / Design / Logistics / Service / Warranty etc

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead cost reduction initiatives across the Imaging organization, from ideation to implementation, ensuring timely execution and achievement of cost-saving targets.

  • Analyse existing processes, workflows, and expenditures to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for reducing costs while maintaining or improving quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes and initiatives.

  • Identify and prioritize cost-saving opportunities based on potential impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and impact of cost reduction initiatives.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of cost optimization efforts, including achievements, challenges, and future plan.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cost optimization and efficiency improvement.

  • Disruptive Cost Workouts to generate cost out funnels.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 Years proven experience in sourcing, cost management, process improvement, or related fields, preferably in a leadership role.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to drive decision-making and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to successful completion within established timelines and budgets.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving measurable cost savings and process improvements.

  • Knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies for cost analysis, process improvement, and project management.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.

  • Expert in data analytics…Spend analytics and creating opportunities.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in Developing low-cost supplier base.

  • Capable of driving cost out YoY thru supplier negotiation or design changes.

  • Working experience with development and production with Medical Devices.

  • Effective problem-solving ability to lead and influence others (cross-functionally and globally).

  • Skilled in negotiating with suppliers & internal stakeholder. Excellent program/project management experience with the ability to develop and execute on integrated program plans.

  • Demonstrate strong execution skills and ability to drive change globally.
