Minimum qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• 2 years of experience in Android or graphics programming.

• Experience in software system architecture.

• Experience with Operating Systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in multiplayer game development, performance programming, graphics, or game debugging.

• Experience with system software (e.g., Android Operating Systems).

• Experience with Virtualization, Android, Android Internals, graphics programming, Direct 3D, OpenGL, GPU Programming, Mobile GPU, or Vulkan.

The Play Games Multi-Platform team is focused on expanding and growing Google Play's reach.

As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. • Scope, design, and develop solutions to optimize the game experience for Google Play Games users.

• Investigate, debug, and design solutions for problems around virtualization and Android systems.

• Mentor new team members as the team grows.

• Write code for Android or similar systems.
