Minimum qualifications:

• 12 years of engineering experience.

• 10 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go) and with data structures/algorithms.

• 5 years of experience in architecting and launching software products end-to-end.

• Experience in building distributed systems and database services.

Preferred qualifications:

+ + Experience in operating customer facing service.

• Experience providing leadership in Operational and Engineering excellence.

• Track record of successful product delivery from ideation phase to successful customer onboarding.

• Track record of successful stakeholder management across different Google Cloud Platform teams, Data Center, and Customer Engineering teams.

In this role, you will join a team responsible for owning, operating and innovating the entire control plane for our Database product. You will also build integration with many other Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products, enabling customers to replicate data across these services.

• Own and deliver an engineering roadmap for a Cloud Database product.

• Deliver impactful projects end-to-end.

• Be a role model for the team and own team technical charter.

• Mentor the team to deliver high quality products.

• Lead effective communication and stakeholder management across different teams (e.g., Networking, Data Center, external partners, etc.).
