Job Description

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

Hands on experience on Windows and Linux system/server administration.

• Managing Windows/Linux systems: Install, configure, and update operating systems, networks, and computer systems

• Managing users and permissions: Create and manage user accounts and system permissions

• Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues

• Security: Perform security tests and monitoring, and implement security measures

• Backups: Back up data and implement disaster recovery systems and policies

• Automation: Automate routine tasks using scripting and tools

• Monitoring performance: Monitor performance and activity to identify and troubleshoot issues

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation

• Security patches: Apply security patches and configuration changes within maintenance windows

Career Level - IC2

Responsibilities

Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.
