Google Technical Program Manager in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1 year of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to influence the team composed of both technical and non-technical members.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

  • Execute processes and drive portfolio projects for Cloud Supply Chain Data, Data Science and Simulation (CSCD - DSS) team.

  • Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations for defined programs. Serve as a scrum master and drive Agile development within CSCD - DSS team.

  • Collaborate closely with program stakeholders, author program charter that addresses scope, timeline, objectives and key results (OKRs), resourcing, and risks or dependencies of a basic program.

  • Consolidate information into a central location including stakeholders, plans, prioritized objectives, estimated task durations, risks, schedules, and dependencies.
