Job Summary:

Coordinates testing and tutoring services at all Lake Michigan College campuses.

Essential Functions:

1. Assists with the recruitment, training, and support of tutors and proctors.
2. Facilitates timely and professional communication with students, faculty, and staff to ensure all testing and tutoring needs and requests are fulfilled.
3. Designs, implements, and evaluates processes to ensure the effectiveness and integrity of testing and tutoring operations.
4. Assists with department data collection to support internal and external decision making and reporting needs.
5. Facilitates delivery of placement, certification, out-of-class, and national/international standardized testing for LMC courses, other colleges, institutions, and professional organizations, with the highest integrity using a variety of technologies and platforms.
6. Coordinates services for students with accommodations as requested by Student Wellbeing and Accessibility.7. Provides exemplary customer service to all college stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

Under the general supervision of theManager, Testing and Tutoring Services works as a team member in the coordination, facilitation, evaluation, and promotion of an efficient and supportive environment in Testing and Tutoring Services. Responsible for data entry, retrieval, and reporting using Banner and other data management systems. Assists in maintaining databases and web pages related to Testing and Tutoring Services.

Job Specifications:

Associate's degree and excellent word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills required. Bachelor's degree and experience in a community college environment preferred. Successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and an understanding of community college students and the broader community. Some travel to other LMC campuses may be required.
