What you'll do...

Join the Home Office Facilities Maintenance Environmental Health, Safety & Compliance team to support the growth and expansion of the new and existing campus in Bentonville, AR.

Senior Manager Facilities Maintenance EH&S Compliance is a critical role that will be at the forefront of supporting over 200 Facilities associates in NWA, reporting to the Director of Interior Facilities Maintenance. You will be the program owner and single point of contact for power equipment licensing and training, DOT requirements for the Department of Transportation, City of Bentonville Code enforcement, Fire Marshall inspections and code enforcement, storm water compliance inside the new NWA campus, OSHA reporting, Safety Manager, Walmart Fleet liaison, including Wheels and Lease Plan administrative duties, and Hazardous Waste Mgt. documentation for the total Facilities Maintenance teams, rolling to Corporate Real Estate and supporting multiple Corporate facilities and NOT stores, clubs or supply chain facilities.

What you'll do:

  • Establishing a roadmap for future enhancement - identifying short and long-term compliance program initiatives, demonstrating the ability to prioritize immediate needs and planning for ongoing enhancement and evolution of the program over time.

  • Building effective relationships - establishing relationships with key stakeholders and effectively integrating with the Walmart Compliance teams, Fire Department and city leaders.

  • Supporting enterprise and team success - fa cilitating timely identification of compliance risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to enable successful implementation of business initiatives.

  • Operating with excellence - identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) that measure and monitor team performance and potential risk areas. Set an example in managing to KPIs/KRIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

  • Documentation and project management & ownership - total team power equipment training coordination, power equipment licensing, WM Fleet, DOT, code violation resolution, OSGA reporting

What you'll bring:

  • Project management skills, being able to see what needs to be done, own it, and execute through others on the team where you have no direct authority.

  • Subject matter expert in regulatory compliance for DOT administration, OSHA reporting, power equipment licensing and training, Fleet vehicle management and City code enforcement

  • Process-oriented and proactively looking for opportunities to streamline current processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
