What you`ll do

Summary

In your role as an experienced Mac Administrator (f/m/d), you will contribute to SAP's internal Mac@SAP service by leveraging the MDM technology stack, 3rd-party products, and in-house developed solutions to keep our fleet of 35.000 Macs compliant and up to date.

The Role

You will design, plan, and create state-of-the-art solutions for SAPs global Mac fleet and deliver them through distribution and self-service policies. In addition, because of your expertise you will act as one of the main 3rd Level specialists and contribute to complex multi-team challenges related to various Mac technologies and represent SAP in escalations with software vendors. As part of the team, you share your technical knowledge with the team and contribute to skill building throughout the organization and regularly participate in the organizations continuous agile delivery process.

As a plus, you are established in the larger MacAdmin community through knowledge sharing (e.g., blog posts, open sourcing). Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Does this sound like an exciting challenge? Then this position is perfect for you!

What you bring

• Completed Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

• 3 years of work experience as a system administrator or similar role support Macs

• Excellent English language skills and communication skills. German is a plus.

• World-class macOS know-how and Mac client management:

• Proven track record of managing Macs with a Microsoft based backend environment

• Hands-on experience in automating tasks under macOS (e.g., Shell scripts, Python, )

• Understanding of system administration, network administration, and security best practices in the context of Apple devices

• Apple / Jamf certification is a plus
