Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm, rotating weekends/holidays

Under the supervision of the Department Management Team, the Distribution Services Tech II will perform their duties including a DST I duties as needed. This includes operating inventory programs and conducting calculation and replenishment of all hospital inventories and nursing unit supplies in support of patient care for the hospital and

medical center departments. The Tech II is responsible to distribute, collect, transport and clean patient use equipment. The Tech is also responsible to deliver clean supplies in support of patient care as well as all other departments throughout the Medical Center.

Responsible for replenishing supplies in an automated supply cabinet accurately.

Responsible for medical center gas cylinder supply and control. Inventories,

stocks, delivers, and reorders portable gas cylinders for all patient care units and

clinical departments throughout the medical center, inclusive of outpatient

facilities. Acts as the coordinator of the DST I & II personel when the manager is

absent.

Completes usage, stock out and productivity analysis reports using various

computer software programs to include Excel and other database and word

processing programs.

Minimum Education:

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

Required: Less than one year of previous job-related experience

Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
