SALARY

The compensation for this position is $24.38.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Treats customers in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Assists customers with freight delivery and pick-up per all local, state, federal, and Company rules and regulations.
• Accepts and transfers mail from and to other airlines.
• Picks up and delivers mail from and to the Post Office,
• Delivers Bypass mail to the customers under the rules and regulations established by the Post Office and the company.
• Loads and unloads all manifested freight and mail by prescribed handling procedures.
• Answers incoming calls and monitors the phones.
• Completes accurate entry of airway bills and information into the computer system.
• safely operates ground equipment.
• Performs building and ground maintenance to promote a safe work environment and professional company image.
• Regular attendance and shift work is required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Valid drivers license with good driving record.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain a Department Of Transportation Medical card and pass all medical screening required.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Must be able to work under flexible customer service demands.
• Regular attendance and shift work is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, 5-year background check, 10-year criminal history check and security threat assessment.
