Aston Carter HR Assistant in Bethesda, Maryland

HR Assistant (3 days/week onsite and 2 days/week remote)

Description:

  • Responsible for pre-employment screenings to include screenings and reference checks.

  • Assists with new hire onboarding and assimilation.

  • Conducts interviews for associate-level employees.

  • Reports new hires to state and federal governments

  • Processes personnel actions to Payroll.

  • Processes employment verifications.

  • Assists with special HR projects (salary surveys, position descriptions, HR-related research).

  • Attends weekly meetings.

  • Monitors department email account; addresses employee questions and forwards emails to other HR team members as necessary.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

6 months - 3 years of Human Resources experience

1-3 years of HR experience

Experience or education within onboarding, interviewing, etc.. preferred
