Philips Field Service Technician in Bilbao, Spain

Job title:

Field Service Technician.

You will be a part of Cardiovascular Informatics Support Team by offering our customers’ solutions that include high-tech medical equipment and a best-in-class customer experience. We are a committed team that works hard together for our customers and likes the opportunities and challenges within Healthcare IT Support.

You will be assigned to work on-site, with direct interaction with our customers (IT & Clinical Roles)

Your role:

  • On-site support for IntelliSpace Cardiovascular product in a multi-site installation covering a whole region of Spain.

  • Restore customer operations in the fastest possible time.

  • Work with Health Care Information Technology Products: IntelliSpace Cardiovascular + TOMTEC + XperIM

  • Troubleshoot IT solutions at any level (HW, SW, Database and Network).

  • Escalation to Problem Management keeping the Incidents technical responsibility during escalation phase.

  • Participate to the definition and be the owner of the action plan needed for the technical resolution.

  • Work cooperatively with other technical teams to provide tools and processes to help preventing common problems.

  • Monitor incoming case volumes and react to incident trends and critical issues by working with the management to develop a resolution plan.

  • Ensure respect of SLAs.

  • Participate to 24/7 on call support program/service

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Technical education at the university level or similar (Masters / Bachelor's degree, in medical technology or IT).

  • Customer orientation, stress-resistance, great communication and team-working skills.

  • Good level of English is required.

  • Good knowledge in Healthcare Informatics is required.

  • Experience and knowledge of technical support.

  • Experience, interest and knowledge of databases and network management are preferred.

  • Work experience as an engineer in medical technology or similar environment is preferred.

  • You should have knowledge of data networks (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWTS or equivalent) and IT infrastructures (Windows OS, VMWare, Hyper V, SQL Server).

  • Driving license is required.
