TEKsystems Helpdesk Support Technician in Birmingham, Alabama


One of TEKsystems large financial clients is starting on a systems conversion with another bank, as the two banks have officially merged. There will be a transitional period (probably until Veterans Day '22) for the companies to determine which internal systems/tools/applications, etc., are being kept and/or being dissolved.

One of the first system conversions to take place is the migration from MS Outlook/O365 (email) to Google Mail. Accordingly, this client is looking to hire a group of helpdesk support analysts on an initial 60 day contract to support this effort. Initially, they will go through 2 weeks of training on the new system and then be ready for the increased amount of calls that will come in to support the internal users and this new email.

This client is looking for a group of technicians to perform "white-glove support" -- that is, to be the friendly voice to minimize the stress and to help train the user on the new technology and also walk them through what is new and different.
