Inspector Job Description

Are you a meticulous and experienced Inspector with a

keen eye for detail and a passion for quality? We are seeking a skilled

individual to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing

environment.

What You'll Do:As an Inspector, you will play a

crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our small machined parts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing detailed inspections of small machined parts using various measuring tools.

  • Conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) and interpreting related documentation.

  • Operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and vision systems to verify part dimensions and tolerances.

  • Interpreting and working with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.

  • Reading and understanding blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

  • Utilizing your basic knowledge of CNC machines to understand machining processes and potential defects.

Shifts: 1st shift 5:45am to 3:45pm

and 2nd shift 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour,

depending on experience.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with machined parts in a job shop environment.

  • 2+ years of dedicated quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.

  • Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.

  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs for precise measurements.

  • Strong understanding of both metric and imperial measurement systems.
