The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the management of the Bloomington ChopHouse, Olive Lounge, and In-Room Dining. Responsibilities: Interview, select, train, supervise, and counsel restaurant staff for efficient operation of the outlets. Organize and conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate pertinent information to the staff. Ensure discipline is administered timely and fairly with HR involvement Interact positively with customers promoting facilities and services through table visits. Resolve problems to ensure guest satisfaction. Establish and maintain effective associate relations. Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met. Administer sales promotion program and employee incentive programs. Staffing of the restaurant, bar, and room service. Implementing and supporting policies and procedures. Assessing and reviewing the job performance of subordinates. Requirements: Previous food and beverage management/supervisory experience, fine-dining/steakhouse atmosphere preferred Flexible schedule to include morning, day, and evening availability Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and preparation techniques Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English language Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers For each position we require at least five positive verifiable references, a stable work history verified by a background check, a positive attitude, a willingness to be a team player, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
