Harmon, Inc. Provide Professional Engineering Services and Collaborate to Deliver Solutions You will leverage your technical expertise, industry experience, and education to provide timely, comprehensive and value engineered support during all phases of projects. You will deliver professional engineering solutions that ensure public safety and cost-effective curtain wall systems. You will support mentoring less experienced engineers, including Engineers-in-Training, to develop their judgment, accuracy, and production skills. POSITION DESCRIPTION Your contributions to the team Your top priority is the delivery of professional engineering services to internal and external stakeholders that conform to project specifications, engineering standards, and relevant building codes. Review architectural, structural, embed, and shop drawings.Perform structural and/or thermal analysis and prepare calculations. Provide on-site evaluations and field fixes when required. Provide engineering deliverables for proposals and projects aligned with identified priorities and overall schedules. Provide design analysis of curtain wall systems and make recommendations for improvement. EXPERIENCE What you need to be successful Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university. Professional engineering license required. Minimum of 4 years curtain wall industry experience in engineering. Basic proficiency with CAD software. Some experience with system design, testing standards and procedures, fabrication and assembly techniques, and field installation procedures preferred.
