Description This successful company is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their ranks as an Accounts Payable Clerk. If you can match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks, you might be the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk this dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for. The job site for the permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Boca Raton, Florida area.

Your responsibilities

• Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

• Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

• Execute additional tasks as needed

• Perform full-cycle A/P

• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Help with internal and external audits as required

• Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department Requirements

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Accounting Functions experience

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong familiarity with Accounting Entries

• QuickBooks Online experience

• Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
