Old Dominion Freight Line Appointment Clerk in Boise, Idaho
Old Dominion is currently recruiting for an Appointment Clerk to join our OD Family Culture. This role will successfully schedule company appointments to current and potential customers or clients in a fast paced high call volume environment via phone, e-mail, and records time and date of appointments in the AS400 system database or other company/internal freight monitoring system used within the company. Appointment Clerks are a critical member to our OD Family; they help us keep promises to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and place outgoing calls to customers to schedule pickups and delivery
Enter appointments in the computer in a timely manner
Perform general customer service by responding to emails, status of shipments, helping customers correctly complete Bill of Ladings and label freight, etc.
Provide Service 2.OD to internal and external customers
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the transportation industry
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience AS400 preferred
