WHAT'S ENCOURAGED DAILY

  • Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining new tools to support DEG teams in data extraction, analysis, visualization, alerts and reporting needs.

  • Maintaining existing tools with user-training and support, debug, and new feature development.

  • Serving as a DEG-wide point-of-contact for Micron data systems and infrastructure.

  • Provide documentation, training and ad-hoc support for data and analysis tools to DEG users.

  • Assisting teams to quickly assess inventory, yield, quality, reliability and product capability performance-to-plan and turn those into forward looking forecasts.

  • Supporting custom data extraction needs of our Technology & Product Group (TPG) Data Science partners.

  • Maintaining a solid understanding of Micron products and customer platforms.

  • Crafting and developing new tools and metrics/KPI’s for helping to establish our leadership and innovation in the industry.

  • Working independently towards pre-defined goals and proactively making engineering decisions on your own.

HOW TO QUALIFY

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other Engineering field related to electronics or semiconductors

  • 2+ years’ experience in semiconductor, electronics, or software industry

  • Programming experience in Python and libraries in the Python ecosystem

  • Knowledge of standard statistical analysis techniques and methods like SPC, ANOVA and regression

  • Experience in graphical visualization of sophisticated data using tools such as mathplotlib, Tableau, JMP or High-charts

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Data analysis and visualization expertise

  • Database experience – MySQL, MSSQL, Schema design, query writing, database optimization, ORM definitions

  • Web development – standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Frontend frameworks like Angular2+ preferred

  • Object-oriented Python experience, and experience with numerical analysis libraries like Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn

  • Software industry standards for version control (git), unit testing and DevOPs methodologies

  • Exposure to Data Science algorithms and Machine Learning techniques

  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process, from Design and Simulation, through silicon fabrication and testing

  • Background in DRAM, NAND or other memory-related product operation, circuit behavior, simulation, failure analysis, and test strategy
