itizens Memorial Hospital (CMH)is recruiting a Patient Experience Coordinatorto join our Quality Improvement Department located in Bolivar, Missouri.

The Quality Improvement Department seeks to enhance patient safety, increase efficiency, and improve outcomes. The department is responsible for analyzing feedback, reviewing and responding to patient concerns, complaints and grievances, and, in collaboration with leadership, providing recommendations and training on policies and processes aimed at improving the quality of care and services provided at CMH.

A typical day will include: The Patient Experience Coordinatorwill analyze feedback to address concerns at the point of care and post discharge. This position is responsible for providing instruction to staff and leaders regarding service recovery and patient education tools for reporting. The patient advocate will also be available to staff to proactively round on customers regarding their experience with CMH and assist with any concerns they may have. This position will also assist in data collection for service and quality indicators.Approximate time for patient advocate role is 20 hours per week with remaining 20 hours being dedicated to process improvement coordination.

The position is full-time days Monday through Friday.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Associates Degree in Nursing preferred; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience: Healthcare
  • Skills: Process improvement, communication, data collection and analysis, presentations
  • Licensure/Certification: RN certification preferred
