Short Description
The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for all functions related to Herc Rentals’ Rental Protection Plan (‘RPP’) program including, but not limited to:
Day to day handling of RPP claims, paying careful attention to meeting/exceeding established service level agreements
Thorough review of all required RPP claim documentation, and determine the appropriate decision regarding RPP claims’ approval/denials. Escalate to senior team members when necessary.
Serve as the RPP subject matter expert and main point of contact for all RPP questions submitted via incoming calls and/or dedicated email inbox
Work closely as the business liaison with Accounting/Risk/Order to Cash departments on select claims
Develop and continuously improve RPP workflows and standard operating procedures
Creation/maintain reporting associated with RPP, including ongoing analysis of costs
Participate in ongoing projects to expand the RPP program and drive incremental RPP sales
Maintain Legal Hold status and listing in collaboration with the Risk department
Identify opportunities for RPP program improvements
Assist in Project and Change Management on rollout of RPP program enhancements
Participate in the development and testing of future Point of Sale upgrade
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 2 years of business experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred.
Skills
Ability to handle high volume of claims
Understanding of the equipment rental industry (Knowledge of RentalMan point of sale a plus)
Proficient in Salesforce Service Cloud
Damage Claims management experience preferred
Attention to detail
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Demonstrated strong Business and Financial acumen
Strategic thinking
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
