Sekisui Aerospace QA Lab Technician in Bonney Lake, Washington

Annual Salary: $24.04/hr - $38.46/hr Position The Quality Assurance Lab Technician inspects products manufactured or processed for use by our customers to ensure compliance with contract specifications. The QA Lab Tech will: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of supplier produced product, materials and tooling in all work centers. Document non-conformities on company rejection tags and inspection pick-up forms Provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel as well as occasional interaction with vendors and customers in their efforts to produce quality products. Audit installation kits in final inspection prior to shipping. Document compliance with customer and/or regulatory procedures and quality plans. Provide training and/or assistance to other inspectors in the use of procedures or tools. Preferred Qualifications: Provide information and assistance to production and supervisory personnel as well as occasional interaction with vendors and customers in their efforts to produce quality product. Determine eligibility for and perform retesting and recertification of expired materials. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of SEKISUI and supplier produced product, materials, and tooling in all work centers. Document non-conformities on company rejection tags and inspection pick-up forms Audit installation kits in final inspection prior to shipping. Document compliance with customer and/or regulatory procedures and quality plans. Provide training and/or assistance to other inspectors in the use of procedures or tools. Education: Certificate from college or technical school. Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of above requirement. Preferred Experience: One to three years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
