A career within International Tax Services will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC address their cross border tax needs both locally and globally by managing their global tax rates, finding areas of cost reduction, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. You’ll gain a global perspective and an awareness of tax issues stemming from changes to evolving business structures and geographic expansions.
Our International Tax Services Generalist - Practice Support team advises PwC Client Services team advises clients on tax laws and reporting, legislation and planning strategies based on the geography and jurisdiction. You’ll be assisting our team with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs.

A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge in the following areas:
Supervising and meeting with a team (both US and non-US) to create an atmosphere of trust; coaching staff, including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;
Analyzing accuracy of entity information with extensiveattention to detail;
Utilizing organization and project management skills; and,
Microsoft Office Suite and entity data management tools.
Demonstrates extensive technical skills in the following areas:
U.S. tax concepts, with specific expertise in entity tax classifications, withholding forms, and FATCA/CRS classifications;
Assisting to identify clients who would benefit from our firm's technology tools and target them accordingly;
Assisting companies and investment firms to continuously update and improve the functionality of the database; and,
Working in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with varying deliverables and changing requirements.
Demonstrates extensive experience identifying and addressing client needs including the following areas:
Developing new relationships, making introductions to sell new services and doing so with a "One Firm" service mindset;
Supervising teams to track tax formation and compliance of multinational companies, including private equity funds, subsidiaries, and portfolio companies;
Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,
Problem-solving skills related to entity management, such as identifying inconsistent tax data and structuring considerations; with private equity ownership structures and other asset wealth management companies.
Demonstrates extensive experience as a team leader including the following areas:
In automation & digitization in a professional services environment; with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;
Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; in-charge of a staff team to track tax formation and compliance of legal entities, including private equity funds, subsidiaries, and portfolio companies;
Coaching staff, including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;
Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and improve engagements delivery; and,
Demonstrating success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships.

The salary range for this position is: $98,300 - $266,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
