Description We are looking for an IT Manager based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in the technology sector, overseeing both technical and administrative aspects of our operations. The successful candidate will effectively manage a diverse, remote technical operations team, service providers, and direct reports. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Transform, create, and manage projects, clients, and operational teams to deliver high-quality technology projects and services.

• Utilize strong technical knowledge of AWS / Azure Cloud management, O365, and PowerShell.

• Build and manage both onsite and virtual technical support teams, ensuring efficient utilization of technical resources.

• Regularly meet with customers face-to-face to maintain strong relationships and a sense of urgency on all client events.

• Implement and adhere to best practices for effective problem resolution in a high availability environment.

• Ensure change management practices conform to organizational standards.

• Display exceptional written and in-person communications.

• Contribute to IT infrastructure planning, development, implementation, and support, including Sales Support for RFP responses.

• Manage remote monitoring and Infrastructure teams.

• Analyze existing operations and team members, making recommendations and changes to improve and grow with the business. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Advanced skills in MS Office 365 and O 365

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Familiarity with ISO Standards

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting

• Experience in Employee Training

• Knowledge of Major Incident Management

• Skilled in managing server software and computer hardware

• Familiarity with Disaster Recovery strategies

• Understanding of LAN - Local Area Network and WAN - Wide Area Network

• Knowledge of WAN Technologies and SD-WAN

• Experience in NOC operations
