Federal Reserve System Robotic Process Automation Developer in Boston, Massachusetts

We are seeking a talented robotic process automation developer to join our growing Automation Team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. In this role, you will take ownership of the automation opportunities to deliver innovative, scalable solutions for critical business partners. You will also help us support our growing portfolio of digital workers by monitoring existing bots and making optimization suggestions. Successful candidates will have excellent analytical skills, demonstrated experience delivering and supporting end-to-end RPA solutions and the desire to challenge the status-quo.

This position is hybrid with the expectation of at least two days of onsite presence per week.

Robotic Process Automation Developer

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Collaborate with business partners and team members to identify business process automation opportunities and associated requirements

  • Evaluate business requests for automation and develop process automation recommendations

  • Build new processes and objects using our development best-practices

  • Create, or help the process owner to create, user acceptance testing (UAT) documents, identifying all the process scenarios and their expected outcomes

  • Monitor, update and troubleshoot production digital workers

  • Develop operational metrics to measure the success of our automation portfolio

  • Actively participate in improving products by performing quality reviews

  • Make suggestions for improving our process automation best-practices

  • Participate in our platform roadmap process

  • Work independently with limited support

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or technical subject area

  • 2+ years of experience with developing digital workers using the UiPath RPA platform

  • Experience with UiPath Orchestrator

  • Experience building interactions that interface with MS Office products and SharePoint

  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment

  • Working knowledge of Javascript, HTML and other scripting languages

  • Self-motivated with ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines without frequent supervision

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Any of the following is a big plus:

  • UiPath certification

  • Software development experience with an understanding of the project lifecycle.

  • Experience with DevOps tools, Git, Azure Devops / Team Foundation Server

  • Experience integrating machine learning, natural language processing or OCR within RPA processes

  • Experience with process optimization or Lean Six Sigma

  • Experience with C#/VB/.Net/SQL

  • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles

  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
