Overview:  

Under the direct supervision of the Parks Director, the maintenance worker performs daily maintenance and landscaping tasks at the City of Bountiful parks and open spaces.   

Tasks:

·       Responsibilities include daily maintenance of the City parks and facilities.

·       Mows, uses a string trimmer and other light power equipment, plants flowers, removes weeds, etc.   

·       Assist with irrigation, parks maintenance, and other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:

Willing to work independently or in a small group.

Must be available for some weekend work (Saturday).

Qualifications:

Applicants should be at least 16 years old

This is an entry level position, requiring no minimum amount of education or experience

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Must have a Utah Driver's License

Successfully pass a background check, a driving record check, and a pre-employment drug test
