Right Corporation Staff Accountant in Bozeman, Montana

Staff AccountantImplement and maintain blanket pricing for customers and suppliers, billingcustomer orders, accounts payable reconciliation, accounts receivablecommunication and statements, customer or supplier account set-up andcompliance, and managing compliance or communication with the outsideaccounting firm. Conduct monthly financial reporting (financial statements,balance sheet reconciliation) and analysis of results and variances, suchas identifying one-time or permanent savings or expenditures and changesin trends. Participate in business expansion activities and provide expertiseon cross-currency and multi-jurisdictional accounting implications. Evaluatereporting processes and participate in process improvement pertaining tofinancial information. Participate in the review of the balance sheet andexpense accounts, provide comments on the results, and recommendsolutions to improve the process and variance analysis. Prepare month-end journal entries and accruals. Generate transaction reports from varioussources, extrapolate data in Excel, and prepare journal entries. Analyzemiscellaneous invoices to ensure adequate accruals are in place for theperiod cut-off. Drive business system changes, focusing on improvingefficiencies and cost reductions. Perform various month-endreconciliations, including but not limited to bank, revenue, expense, and GLaccount reconciliations. Remote work possible (Laptop w/MS 365provided).Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with aconcentration in accounting. Minimum of 5 years of experience as anAccountant which must have included accounting and auditing of complexfinancial statements and audit procedures.
