Digital Technology Analyst R27346

The Technical Analyst will be responsible for the daily support of service delivery within the global infrastructure environment. In addition, this role will serve as a project and technical resource to approved application and infrastructure projects. It is expected that this role will act independently, resolve problems and fulfill work assignments with little to no supervision.

Within the technical analyst roles, team members will support a wide variety of departments and disciples which will include:

  • DataBaseAdministration(DBA)

  • Server

  • DataNetwork

  • VoiceNetwork

  • Storage

  • Application Platforms

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Supportlow tomedium complexity maintenance,Run-the-Business (RTB) support,and respond toincident service requestsofthe assigned global infrastructurearea.

  • Serveasa projectresourceon application and infrastructureproject efforts representinginfrastructurefunctional capabilities.

  • Responsiblefor gathering requirements, creating recommendations, and implementingsolutionsto meet the project requirements.

  • Provide knowledge sharing in the form ofefforts such aswriting knowledge articles, relationshipdevelopmentwithotherInformation Technology (IT) staff, and job shadowing.

  • Develop and increase technical knowledge and capabilities through training, investing timetounderstand technical/organizational direction and cross training.

  • Responsiblefor maintaining systems requiredto support ITapplications for designated TechnicalAnalyst specialty (AIX, SQL, Voice, etc.).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’sdegree in ComputerScience,Information Systems, orequivalent.

  • Three (3)or more yearsofexperience in Information Technology, orin a related area.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevantindustry related certifications.

  • InformationTechnology experience within the manufacturingindustry.

  • Ability to effectively communicate.

  • Ability toworkin a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills withexceptional follow throughandattentiontodetail.

  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, abletomulti-taskandprioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.

  • Ability toworkin a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.

  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word,Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint,etc.

  • Database Administration:

  • Oracle Role: Experiencein Oracle database and Oracle RMAN; Experiencewithinoperating systems (Linus(RHEL, SUSE, OEL), AIX,orSolaris;OracleCertifiedProfessional.

  • SQL Role: Knowledge andexperiencewithin database build,databasearchitecture,database backup andrecovery; Knowledge with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS; Experience in SQL 2016, 2014 and/or2012;Experiencein Widows 2012,2008,and/or2003; Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

  • Server:

  • AIX: IBM AIXCertification

  • Linux: RedHat Certification

  • Windows: Familiarwith VMware and server virtualization technology; Microsoft Certification, VMware Certification.

  • Data Network: NetworkA+Certification,Cisco CCNA Certification

  • Voice Network: Cisco CCNACertification, ITIL Foundation Certification

  • Storage: Experiencewith operating systems such asLinux RedHat, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and WindowsServer 2008 and2012; Experience withenterprise storage concepts (EMC VAX, VNX); Experiencewith backup and recovery concepts (EMC Avamar and Data Domain);ExperiencewithMicrosoftActive Directory (NTFS, DFS, and file services); Understanding ofVMwareandvSphere.

  • Application Platforms:

  • Oracle JDE CNC : Experience with JDE CNC Administration, JDE systemadministration,andJDE security administration;Experience supporting JDE onany the following operations systems, databasesand middleware technologies: IBM I, IBM AIX,MSServers,Linux, DB2i, Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL, IBM WebSphere,and Oracle WebLogic.

  • Middleware : Knowledge inconfigurationand administration onanyofthe following middleware application server platforms: WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, and Wildfly/JBOSS. Basic knowledge of Windows Server OS and RHEL orother Linux isrequired.
