We are looking for trusted Co-Pilot to the Business: providing insight and strongly supporting a fact-based decision making process, based on current business environment & specialist financial knowledge and by challenging new strategies as well as the status quo.
Main responsibilities:
Management of Business Performance: Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and develop/follow up action plans across Supply Chain CZSK. Challenge assumptions for cost improvements in the operations based on internal and external benchmark information on operations performance and costs. Ensure corrective actions/follow-up projects are implemented to improve competitiveness and move towards a "Low Cost" operator. Act as guardian of business performance across whole Operational controlling ideas. Follow and highlight any inconsistency with local legal/tax requirement.
Reporting and Analytics: Coordinate reporting of actuals (including organizing and overseeing timeliness and accuracy of period-end close) across Supply chain areas; and forecasts cost evolution under his/her responsibility; ensure transparency of this process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed. Manage a common approach for all distribution centers and both markets reporting; ensure transparency, accuracy and timeliness of this process. Business Planning: Participate in business planning; coordinate the Budget with Operations community; perform revisions and inputs to Physical distribution (VDE and FDE) quarterly DFs, variance comments versus budget, vs previous years.
Support special projects: M&A, Sourcing, Restructuring, Legal entities integration
Capital Investments: Coordinate the yearly CAPEX cycle for areas under his/her responsibility. Develop, control and ensure robust evaluations of capital investment plans and requests including business post project evaluations.
Knowledge Transfer: Drive clear understanding of financial key figures and costing within Supply chain and sustainability, including organizing training sessions for non-specialists.
Compliance: Coordinate and be key contact for internal and external audits within the Operational area
Benchmarking : Organize internal and external benchmarking of Operations performance with focus on VDE, FDE, Distribution centers and HUBs.
Optimizations: Act as guardian of evaluate and optimizations across the different functions within Operations. Regularly evaluate and drive optimization within CZSK Supply chain area.
Key requirements:
Formal financial qualification of appropriate level (degree or similar).
Prior experience in Accounting / Finance function.
Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience.
Proficiency in English and Czech
Experience in a network organization with cross-functional stakeholders.
