Reference #: R3638 Job Summary: The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for all Maintenance Technician duties, as well as assisting the Maintenance Supervisor daily and providing department leadership in his/her absence. What you will be responsible for: Oversees work of assigned maintenance team employees. Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Works with maintenance supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks. Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments, delegates assignments. Work with other department supervisors and leads to make sure equipment repairs are prioritized and repaired in a timely manner. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner. Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Inspects work performed by team members. Performs other related duties as assigned. Completes PM audits to ensure efficiency of p.m.'s. Shop walk-through daily/nightly Reaching out for support when deemed necessary.
