Purpose of role:

  • Lead and manage customer sales team to fulfil Mondelez targets and KPI’s within given budgets, incl. close alignment with Field Lead

  • Develop your team (>10) and actively shape the future of MDLZ Sales Germany

  • Understand customer strategies and develop appropriate sales strategies for best-in-class customer partnerships

  • Actively exploit & deliver sales potential of key customer

  • Closely align with European Sales Team and contribute to the success of international customer negotiations

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Achieve national sales targets (Revenue, Volume, customer profitability etc) for your customer across MDLZ categories

  • Lead the development of a customer strategy deriving from sales and category strategy

  • Develop full year customer plan and develop (additional) activities based on specific analysis tools to ensure achievement of AC targets (e.g. via Mix management tool, RGM,…)

  • Ensure achievements of sales KPI’s (assortment, promotions, distribution, shelf space, planogram)

  • Collaborate closely with Central Sales and other key markets to influence and shape successful cross-country, cross-category negotiations

  • Establish/maintain strong customer contacts with relevant customer functions (purchasers, sales, marketing, logistics). Ensure best in class cooperation at all relevant levels.

  • Inspire your team to further develop, think creatively and deliver against commitments

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • Total work experience between 6-9 years /approx. 3-5 years Key Account experience (or comparable)

  • Profound overall knowledge and understanding of all relevant sales aspects; ideally experience with German Trade

  • Proficient German and English language skills

  • Inspiring Team leadership

  • Strategic thinking & drive for results
