Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Bremen, Indiana

Description:

A typical day in this role is coming in and having a pass down meeting from the previous shift. From that point on - they will walk the plant and try to determine if there's any issue that needs immediately fixed. From that point on - they will do their normal daily checks that they do every day. This can include - low voltage checks, greasing bearings/shafts, rotating equipment from A to B, taking part equipment and replacing bearings.

Typical repairs that they can do are going to be replacing bearings and shafts, repairing hydraulic/pneumatic components, and basic electrical troubleshooting. By basic - everything that they have is done on 24V circuit besides the big power to the machines that they have which are 480V. They need to be able to read blueprints to determine what areas need fixed.

This person is going to need to be a high level troubleshooter. Ideally they would like someone that thinks of the simple repairs first before going to the most complicated.

 Qualifications:

7 years mechanical troubleshooting

7 years electrical troubleshooting

Ability to troubleshoot PLCs

Ability to lead a team

Ability to use a volt meter

Ability to read both schematics and prints
